WATERWAYS TOWNSHIP CELEBRATES GREAT OGEECHEE SEAFOOD FESTIVAL Â

Master-Planned Community Joins 35,000 Festival Guests To Experience Exceptional Regional Event

Richmond Hill, Ga. –Oct 18, 2012– WaterWays Township, a 2,300-acre gated master-planned community in south Bryan County, announced today plans to participate for the third year in the Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival (GOSF).

"We're so proud to be affiliated with the GOSF again this year. We've been impressed by the efficient organization and the amazing volunteers who bring this festival to life, so it is exciting for us to introduce our community to the 35,000 visitors who are expected to attend this year's event," said Vance Askew – sales and marketing director, WaterWays Township.

The festival, in its 14th year serving the greater Savannah area hosted more than 35,000 attendees in 2011 and is looking for a five percent increase in 2012. The event, which runs from Friday, October 19, 2012 – Sunday, October 21, 2012, features 50 arts and craft booths, a 5K Crab Crawl run, and the internationally recognized rock band, the Gin Blossoms in a Saturday night concert.

The afternoon before the festival opens to the general public, special needs children from across the Coastal Empire are invited for a magical time of fun and exploration. Rides are slowed, music is turned down and Kissel Entertainment dedicates this period to serving these special guests.

"Four years ago, I became involved with the festival as a volunteer," continued Askew, "and we moved our commitment to a corporate sponsorship the following year. Our chamber not only does great things for the local business community and the city of Richmond Hill, it really knows how to throw a party – it simultaneously raises funds for nonprofits while generating a great time for our local residents and visitors.  It's a fantastic outcome for everyone, and it's a weekend you don't want to miss."

We will be at booth #87, so please come by and see us!
