1. Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival
This three-day festival from Friday, Oct. 14 to Sunday, Oct. 16, offers live entertainment, including internationally recognized Southern rock band .38 Special, amusement rides, art and crafts, fireworks, and the best fresh seafood in coastal GA. 2. Candle Lantern Tour of Ft. McAllister
Experience fort life at night. You may have seen the fort by daylight but during the Halloween season, what would be better than to experience it by candle light? Walk through these historic grounds and watch the soldiers going through their nightly duties and chores.

3. Richmond Hill Farmer's Market
The farm-to-table concept is re-energizing America on the value of fresh food, and Richmond Hill is no exception. Every Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. through Oct. 31, join local vendors from throughout the coastal region in the pavilion at J. F. Gregory Park, located behind the Richmond Hill City Hall. 4. Savannah Food Day Festival
And, speaking of food, on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., celebrate national food day at Matilda Beasley Park in Savannah. The festival is free and includes cooking demonstrations, exhibitors, pet-friendly fun, kids activities and educational workshops promoting healthy food. 5. Ottawa Farms Corn Maze
Harken back to the good ole days through a journey down an old-fashioned corn maze. If you can find your way back out, continue the celebration with cow trails, pig races, duck races, hay rides, and a corn crib.
