After much anticipation, the WaterWays Boat House has finally finished – and to commemorate this grand occasion, we welcome you to join us for a boating sensation celebration this Saturday, Sept. 27 from 11 – 1 p.m., with a barbecue lunch being served at noon.
This weekend, residents are encouraged to paddle over to the edge of Grand Lagoon at Hawk Island to take a peek into this new amenity. Learn more about the Boat House and its:
- Covered storage for up to 36 single and double passenger kayaks and canoes
- Sun deck for relaxing while you enjoy the beauty of Hawk Island
- Two launching berths that provide comfortable access to and from the water
A special portion of the event will recognize Susan Hall, avid kayaker, local fishing extraordinaire and the very first resident of WaterWays Township. The WaterWays team will dedicate a kayak rack to Susan as a thank you for being the epitome of what it means to be a true WaterWays resident.
