The Great Ogeechee Keeps Getting Greater!

October 21, 2011 by WaterWays Township

After 13 years of continuously uplifting family entertainment, the Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival took it up another notch with last weekend's phenomenal event. The three-day celebration, which featured carnival amusement rides for kids aged six to 60, a classic car show, gorgeous coastal Georgia weather, finger-licking seafood from across the southern crescent, and a crowd-swell of attendees (especially on Saturday), the Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival continues to raise the bar as one of the coastal region's must-attend annual events.

Internationally recognized Southern rock band .38 Special delighted the crowds Saturday under the perfect autumn night sky, and a sea of colorful fireworks closed the show on the nighttime events.

Check out pictures from the event on the festival's Facebook page via: http://www.facebook.com/Goseafoodfestival, and imagine your life and the lifestyle you might enjoy as a part of this friendly, historic coastal community in the hub of Savannah's growing commerce-expanding footprint.
