September 13, 2013 by Callie Wamsley

It's that time of year folks, the moment that the entire South looks forward to every September. What is it? Football season!

There's really no better way to enjoy a football game than spending an afternoon tailgating with friends while cheering on your favorite team. One thing that is a "must" at a tailgate is good food! Here are some quick and easy dip recipes that are sure to make you the tailgating guru and will keep your guests wanting more:

  • White cheddar pimiento cheese – stack it on a cracker or spread it over toast; this satisfying pimiento cheese recipe will keep your mouth watering until the next bite!
  • Roasted corn salsa – if you're a salsa connoisseur, you're going to love this spin on the traditional Mexican dish! Try it with crispy tortilla chips or add it to a spicy fish taco!
  • Spinach and artichoke dip – it's just like mom's, except without the extra hugs and cheek smooches!
  • Loaded baked potato dip – who says you need a fork to eat a loaded baked potato? All you need is a crowd of hungry guests...and maybe a potato chip or two...
