Swing into Summer at the WaterWays Playground

WaterWays Childrens Play Area

With school in its final days, we all know that our children will be ready to get out and spend their vacation outdoors.

Just in time for the longer days of summer, our community playground is complete and ready to be explored. Custom designed and built of North American redwood, the play area features a nautical theme and a construction system designed to provide strength and security, so children can swing and climb on it for generations to come.

A 40' x 40' square foot paradise of play, children can experience a variety of fun elements including:

  • A 4' X 6' timber rock wall
  • Two-story super slide
  • Sling and traditional swings
  • Monkey and shimmy bars
  • Trapeze and ring combos
  • Ship's wheels and binoculars at either port's entry
  • A knotted rope with buoy ball
  • A 10' X 10' super-sized clubhouse on the second story, which provides a view to the sandbox and picnic table below.

An oasis of fun, our new playground is a place where our smallest residents can bring their dreams to life. Massive oak trees, dripping with southern moss, shade redwood benches for caregivers to enjoy, while a concrete path that surrounds the playground offers a winding trail for trikes and tricycles. Adjacent to the community garden and a short distance from the homes in the RidgeWood Park neighborhood, you and your family can walk or ride a bike down to RidgeWood Central Park and spend the afternoon with friends and neighbors.

Every day is sure to be an adventure at WaterWays, from planting summer vegetables in the community garden, to fishing in the lagoons or swimming in the WaterClub West pool. So come on down, sit back and relax while your children swing jump and play at the children's  play area—it's just another great day of adventure at WaterWays.
