St. Patrick's Day - South Georgia Style

St. Patrick's Day is widely celebrated throughout the United States, but you won't find many celebrations bigger than Savannah's St. Patrick's Day festivities. If you're feeling lucky, Savannah is the best place to get into the spirit of with over 300,000 visitors joining local residents for this city-wide holiday.

Starting Friday, River Street in Savannah will host the best party of the year with the highly anticipated St. Patrick's Celebration on the River Festival. Whether you are looking for entertainment and games, live music or festive food to set the mood for this Irish celebration, River Street in Savannah is where you want to be this weekend!DSC_0147

Savannah will literally paint the town green on St. Patrick's Day: the St. Patrick's Day celebration in Georgia's first city has become one of the premier festivals in the Southeast. Residents and visitors alike will fill Savannah's city streets, joining in on the festivities to celebrate the second largest St. Patrick Day Parade in the United States.
