The Easter holiday is a time when families travel and friends, both old and new, get together to reminisce and create great memories. One of the traditions that everyone enjoys is hunting for eggs.
On Saturday, March 30, WaterWays Township held its first community Easter Egg Hunt. Fellowship and southern hospitality were the themes as seven families turned out for the event hosted by the Bass Family. Dozens of eggs in bright blues, greens and pinks were scattered around Ridgewood Park as children of all ages eagerly raced with anticipation to find the hidden treasures. The real treasure wasn't found in an egg, however.  It was the fellowship among the residents. Adults mingled, and looked on, as their children played on the playground and drew colorfully with chalk on the sidewalks. Following the Easter Egg hunt, families gathered at the Bass' home for refreshments. It was a day filled with laughter, love and wonderful memories the residents will never forget.Â
