Clancy Mathews
With deep low country roots, Clancy joins Waterways with more than 15 years of management, sales and customer service experience in various customer-focused environments. He joins Waterways most recently from The Inn at Palmetto Bluff and The Landings Club on Skidaway Island.
Clancy’s low country heritage dates back to before the 1900’s when his father’s side of the family started Mathews Seafood in Savannah. His mother’s side of the family are shrimpers on Colonel’s Island in Midway, Georgia and served as caretakers of Saint Catherine’s Island.
Clancy and his wife reside in Richmond Hill with their three young boys. Clancy and his family love their community and the lifestyle on the water that Richmond Hill provides. On St. Patrick’s Day, you’ll find the Mathews family carrying on their tradition of attending the parade. Clancy has never missed a year since he was a month old!
Harmony Thompson
Also new to the Waterways team, Harmony is a native of Southeast Georgia and she loves helping her clients find the perfect home in the area. In fact, she specializes in new home construction and relocation to Georgia. Before joining the Waterways team, she trained extensively with Keller Williams Realty, and, along with her team, she earned “Top 5 KW Sales Team” in 2016.
When she’s not helping clients find their dream homes, Harmony can be found by the water with her family, listening to a murder mystery podcast or doting on her schnauzer, Lucy Liu.
Millie Knight
Millie has been a member of the Waterways team for nearly three years, but she has also been a resident of the community since 2013! Before joining the Waterways team, her experience in real estate began as an investor; she bought, renovated, sold, rented, and managed properties, inspiring her to get her Real Estate License and later her Broker’s License. With combined personal experience and the professional knowledge of a Broker, Millie is positioned to help make finding her clients’ next home a seamless experience.
Mille has an Official Designation from the National Association of Realtors and The Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®). This coveted designation demonstrates Millie’s commitment to providing outstanding service to her clients. She has also earned the Certified New Home Sales Professional (CSP) designation from the National Association of Home Builders to help better serve clients during the home building process.
When away from the office, Millie enjoys spending time with her three children.
Vance Askew
Vance has been actively involved in real estate sales at Waterways since 2008, previously serving as Director of Sales and Marketing for the community as well as Qualifying Broker for the community’s onsite brokerage firm. Vance began his career in real estate in 2002 after completing a successful 16-year career managing accounting and finance departments for several premier master planned communities in Florida. As a licensed real estate broker in both Georgia and Florida, Vance brings a wealth of experience, including market trend analysis, financing, marketing strategy and new construction.
Vance has served the local community in various capacities since arriving in 2008, including leadership roles with Richmond Hill/Bryan County Chamber of Commerce (Board of Directors), the Richmond Hill Rotary Club (Treasurer, Rookie of the Year – 2012, Rotarian of the Year – 2013) and the Richmond Hill Exchange Club (Board of Directors).
Vance is married to his wife of 32 years, Lynette. They have two daughters and two adorable granddaughters. In addition to family, Vance is an avid sports and recreation enthusiast, where he regularly enjoys tennis, jogging, biking, fishing, working out and college football.
