Mark Your Calendars for the 2014 Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival!

September 17, 2014 by Callie Wamsley

The event of the season is back – and it's bigger and better than ever.

This year's Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival (GOSF) anticipates more than 35,000 attendees, tons of local food vendors, 50 arts and crafts booths, the annual 5K Crab Crawl run, carnival games and rides, and Grammy Award-winning band Blues Traveler as the entertainment headliner.

Known in Richmond Hill as one of the Georgia coast's most treasured events, the GOSF is a family friendly fun event that offers award-winning entertainment and the best seafood available in the area. It's definitely not to be missed!

"For the past 16 years, the GOSF has helped highlight the Georgia coastline's heritage through this tremendous event," said Vance Askew – sales and marketing director, WaterWays Township. "In an effort to support that mission and to share it with our resident families and the local community, we're proud to be back for our fifth year of sponsorship participation in the GOSF."

This year's festival will take place from Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 – Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit http://www.goseafoodfestival.com/.
