This craft can be fun for the whole family! Younger kids love playing with fake snow (it’s a great sensory item). Older kids also enjoy getting creative with snowmen faces! These versatile jars can be used for functional home décor year after year. Crafting with your kids always results in fun memories!

 Materials:

  • Epsom Salt
  • Tinsel
  • Glitter
  • Clean Glass Jars
  • Craft Foam
  • Mod Podge

Step 1: Create your Snow: Fill a bin with a mixture of cut tinsel, glitter and epsom salt.

Step 2: Have your little ones use a foam brush, or their hands, to cover their jar with Mod Podge or a similar craft glue.

Step 3: Dip, roll and let the jars dry.

Step 4: Attach facial features. Using the craft foam and any other age-appropriate accessories (we used buttons!), design eyes, a nose and a mouth for your snowman!

Step 5: You can use these jars as gifts filled with candy or as décor around your house. They also make great festive pen and paperclip holders for your desk!
