This season, our residents have been busy basking in all that summer on the Georgia Coast has to offer. You'll see us out around the community biking, fishing, kayaking and walking, taking in the salty beauty of Waterways Township under the Georgia sun. Around our community, summer is still sizzling and we are enjoying every day of it! There are several things that make WaterWays Township a special place to live in South Georgia. An incredible commodity that our residents cherish is the beautiful town of Richmond Hill. The location of our community gives residents access to the Richmond Hill coastal amenities that you simply can't find anywhere else in Georgia. Here are a few cool local spots to enjoy while summer is still hot! - **Fishing** o   It's no wonder fishing is a popular activity around WaterWays Township. Our pristine lagoons were designed by bass fishing legend Bill Dance and are used all year long by our residents. Just outside of our community, Richmond Hill features fantastic fishing piers that are great for a relaxing day on the water. You don't want to miss out on fishing the Kilkenny and Fort McAllister Marinas; these fishing spots offer beautiful views and the peaceful sound of the of the water. The salty air and cool breeze summons residents throughout the town to get out and enjoy South Georgia. Walkers, runners and hikers alike will find an abundance of options to spend the day outdoors exploring the depths of Richmond Hill. Between J.F. Gregory Park, the Green Creek Nature Trail and the Fort McAllister State Historic Park, you will find beautiful trails that wind throughout Richmond Hill's natural beauty for all to enjoy.
