It's easy to get caught up in the stresses of holiday prepping. There's the cleaning, the guests, the menu. The list just goes on and on! With a little help from Real Simple and Allrecipes, you'll be able to go from planning to prepping to downtime in no time! Here are a few tips to help you host the most stress-free Thanksgiving dinner ever!
- Cut through the clutter:  It's every cook's pet peeve – stay out of the kitchen! Move as many items as possible – like drink ware, ice and beverages – to the living room. Guests will be more likely to reside in an area that's set up for entertaining.
- Shop early and shop often: Preparing a dinner for a large group can be exhausting! If possible, break up your shopping list by making a couple of trips to the market versus one large "throw and go." Make it even less stressful by going first thing in the morning. There will most likely be less people in the store then.
- Less is more: This year, more families are moving toward a smaller menu that includes simple and fresh recipes. Try to whittle your menu down to the essentials: entrées, sides and desserts. No need to fill up on appetizers beforehand!
