Explore WaterWays During the New Resident Island Cruise

August 03, 2015 by Callie Wamsley

Water's influence is central to life at WaterWays Township. From saltwater tidal creeks to the pristine Grand Lagoon, we want to make sure that our new residents get the full experience of what our community offers, and what better way to explore our local waterways than by boat?

WaterWays Township and Bull River Tours invite new residents to join us for a boat tour of Redbird Creek and Ossabaw Island during the 2015 New Resident Appreciation Island Cruise.

The two cruise dates will take place on Saturday, August 15 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Saturday, August 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Space is limited to 39 participants per trip and cruises are limited to new residents and residents that did not participate in the 2013 cruise.

Boarding will begin 15 minutes before departure at Old Shell Causeway. Drinks and light snacks will be provided. For more information, or to RSVP, contact Brittany Askew at brittanyaskew@waterwaystownship.com or (912) 445-0299.
