An Adventure Awaits You on Cottenham Trail

Biking Along Cottenham Trail

A place that was meant to be explored, WaterWays Township offers amenities that beckon to those with a sense of adventure. In addition to miles of winding lagoons and marsh frontage, a Bill Dance Signature Fishing Experience and community garden plots, residents will now be able to explore new places along the community's Cottenham Nature Trail.

A multipurpose trail system for bikers and pedestrians, this five-mile back-country trail meanders throughout our 2,300-acre community and the adjacent 2,000 acres of state-owned wildlife management areas.

Featuring scenic marsh view overlook points, picnic spots, historic sites, and fishing areas, the Cottenham Nature Trail provides the perfect backdrop for a morning jog, afternoon bike ride, evening stroll or even a picnic dinner. It is not unusual to see small animals, birds and other wildlife while on the trails. More than 300 species of birds can be found with a patient eye. Overlook points that feature Fort McAllister, Ossabaw and Wassaw Island are also situated along the trail.

With the ancient oak canopies and coastal wetlands at your fingertips; take in the serene setting of the Cottenham Nature Trail, which begins at the WaterClub West Pavilion. A place where life's richest experiences are waiting outside your door every day, WaterWays Township offers an active and unique lifestyle that is perfect for all walks of life.

Stop by WaterWays Township this weekend for a breath of fresh air on the trails, and experience the lifestyle and adventure waiting for you.

The American Dream is Back on Savannah's Horizon

Savannah is bringing new economic life to the area with the expansion of its port. Today the port of Savannah is the fourth largest and second busiest container port in the nation for exports of American goods. With the deepening of the port, it will generate powerful economic benefits for the Savannah and Richmond Hill area.

Savannah Port

According to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, deepening the Savannah port to 47 feet will bring more than $174 million in economic impact. This project will instigate more jobs, opportunities and long-term business growth to the Savannah area as well as the state and entire Southeast.

As Savannah reaches this national milestone, there will be a larger demand for homes in the Richmond Hill and Savannah area. With new homes being completed, WaterWays Township is prepared for the demand. We currently have new homes under construction and new lots available for purchase. For more information, details and photos of these homes, please visit our website.
