Meet the Knight Family

August marked an exciting time for the Knight family when they moved from Montgomery, Ala. to their new home at WaterWays! Matt, a pharmaceutical sales rep, and Millie, a real estate broker turned stay-at-home mom, have been married for 19 years and have three children: Sydney 16, Camryn 13 and Matthew 4.

The Knight family loves travelling, spending time with their friends and family, and enjoying the great outdoors; it's their love of nature that made WaterWays Township a perfect match.

"There was nothing else like it!" Millie said. "The grounds, trails, water and trees sold us. We love it just as it is. I absolutely love driving home every day!" They loved the thought of having access to nearby scenic observation points and hiking trails, but what they loved most was the idea of a friendly, safe community to raise their children, and of course, great neighbors.

Outside of WaterWays, the Richmond Hill community is a perfect match for the Knights.

"We chose Richmond Hill because of the schools. Â I did research, made a list and drove around the town. We settled on Richmond Hill because it's such a nice little town with everything you need. Â Everyone is so nice here, and we love the small town atmosphere!" said Millie.

WaterWays has proven to be "home sweet home" for the Knight family. Welcome to the community, Knights! Here's to many happy years in your new home and neighborhood.

WaterWays Long CreekMay Sees Boom in Vertical Construction with 10 New Home Starts Â

We've really launched into 2014 with exciting levels of new vertical construction, multiple crews on the ground and the smell of fresh-milled lumber evident in all of our active neighborhoods, including Ridge Wood Park, Long Creek and WaterWays Parkway South. With ever increasing signs of demand from the local community, we have worked closely with our preferred builders on ten new home construction starts which broke ground in May.

Our preferred building team includes locally owned builders C. Pickett Enterprises, Grant Homes, Keller Enterprises and Lewis and Bashlor Construction in addition to nationally acclaimed Dream Finders Homes. The homes, which range from 2,184 to 2,910 square feet, will feature 3 to 4 bedrooms, 2 ½ to 3 ½ bathrooms and offer low country architectural designs, comfortable living spaces and exquisite attention to detail, all at great values for this area.

With wooded, park and lagoon lot locations, these homes are being built in a beautiful natural setting that will not only provide privacy but will also help them maintain their values for the long-term.

These homes should be move-in ready by late summer, just in time to for end-of-summer celebrations and the start of a new school year.

To learn more about these homes and our complete list of available properties, please visit the WaterWays Township Home Finder or call our office at 912-445-0299.

New Outdoor Amenity at WaterWays is Now Complete

During the spring and summer months, we spend so much time outdoors that we often look for inviting  spaces that serve as gathering places where we can relax and entertain friends and family. A new open space called Trellis Park has been created in the Ridge Wood Park neighborhood and is the perfect place for WaterWays residents to get some fresh air, enjoy nature and relax for a few moments in this tranquil setting.  From relaxing with a book, unwinding with a glass of wine or casually resting while the kids play in the park, this new community gathering place will certainly host many such occasions at WaterWays Township.

WaterWays Trellis AmenityThere is no better way to escape the hustle and bustle of life than retreating to an outdoor space in your community with family and friends. The new Trellis Park at WaterWays features comfortable furnishings and gorgeous brass gas lanterns that reflect the low country style of our community while inviting residents and guests to linger for a few relaxing moments. The handsome trellis area will overlook a two-acre park that features lush green space, towering shade trees, and colorful landscaping.

This new feature has now been completed and is ready for residents, outdoor enthusiasts and children with spring fever to gather and enjoy!

WaterWays Recognized as "Community of the Year"

We are so excited to announce that WaterWays was recently named "Community of the Year," by the Home Builders Association of Greater Savannah (HBAS). WaterWays was honored by the HBAS on March 27th for our comprehensive approach to the creation of this exceptional master planned community.  In addition to the obvious respect and preservation of the land's natural attributes that are on display from the moment residents and guests enter the gates, the community was also recognized for its delivery of quality residential homes and homesites as well as a coastal lifestyle that encourage outdoor activities and social interaction. The approach to sharing the story of WaterWays through an integrated, multi-layered marketing strategy was another criterion for which the community was recognized.

Being recognized by the Homebuilders Association as "Community of the Year" is very exciting for our development team and is validation that our peers acknowledge the effort and commitment we are making to this community and to the families who are choosing to live with us.

If you are not yet a resident or have not had a chance to personally visit our community, we invite you to come experience why WaterWays was named 2013 Community of the Year!
