Back to School at WaterWays

July 29, 2015 by Callie Wamsley

Class is in session! Next week, Bryan County starts the new school year fresh on Monday, August 3 and this weekend, WaterWays is soaking up every last ounce of summer vacation by celebrating big at the Back to School Bash!

Join us this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at WaterClub West to send out summer vacation with a bang! The day will be filled with family, food, swimming and good ole' fashioned summertime fun. Barbecue will be provided, but residents are encouraged to bring a side dish or dessert to share with neighbors.

For more information or to RSVP, reach out to WaterWays resident Millie Knight at millie.knight.realtor@gmail.com.

Next week is also an exciting time for WaterWays parents, as it marks the first year of operation for McAllister Elementary School, just a short drive from WaterWays. Situated on 27 acres and more than 15,000 square feet of new learning space, McAllister Elementary is the newest addition to Bryan County Schools. For more information on McAllister or any schools that are near WaterWays, be sure to check out their back to school guide on the Bryan County Schools website.

Buses will pick up our neighborhood children again this year from Trellis Park in RidgeWood Park. Times for bus arrival and pickup are posted here on the Bryan County Schools website.

Is it "back to school" time in your household? Share your first day of school pictures with us on the WaterWays Facebook page!
