A Racing Success!

Future Resident John Cameron Crossing the Finish Line!

On Saturday, January 19th we teamed up with Georgia Game Changers Running Company and the Richmond Hill High School JROTC program to help South Bryan residents commit to a healthier lifestyle in 2013 by hosting the Richmond Hill Resolution Runz. This was the first organized running event held at WaterWays with its success; we can say that it will not be the last.

We always try to encourage residents to explore the community and enjoy the outdoor recreational opportunities available here, and hosting the inaugural Richmond Hill Resolution Runz was the perfect way for us to invite the local community into WaterWays to experience it as well!

The Resolution Runz was a three-race event that featured one-mile, three-mile and 10-mile runs throughout the community. Nearly 250 people participated in the races, and all proceeds went to the RHHS JROTC Booster Club to benefit the Wildcat Battalion and its 289 JROTC cadets.

As part of the WaterWays team, we really enjoyed seeing our residents participate as both runners and volunteers in addition to the response from the local community of their experience at WaterWays and the special environment that we have here.
